About Eugene Houchins III

Eugene E. “Gene” Houchins III, is founder and President of American Life Fund Corp., a 6-year old life settlements and viatical firm located in Atlanta, Georgia. Eugene helps to provide reliable cash to seniors and others with life threatening illnesses with an emphasis on quick customer response. Mr. Houchins has a strong background in life insurance policy evaluation and has a thorough understanding of the dynamics that affect the market value of life insurance coverage. He supports ALS research, as well as many charities that support cancer research, treatment and prevention. 

Eugene was raised in Atlanta and went to Auburn University earning his BS in Civil Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering form Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to founding American Life Fund, he worked as a life insurance agent and life settlement broker from 2006 to 2012, and prior to that, Eugene worked in the refined petroleum pipeline industry in Atlanta and Houston, TX. He traveled extensively managing for various projects nationwide and moved to a leading technical sales role attending industry conferences and leading seminars worldwide. Gene is married and has one son. He is an avid sports fan and coaches his con’s little league football and basketball teams.
